Slime Time
Ooey gooey, boo! Have some fun making homemade slime this Halloween.
What You Can Use
- 1 cup white school glue
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1.5-2 tablespoons of contact lens solution (supply extra if needed)
- Food dye in colors of choice
- Pure Life®8oz. bottles to drink
What You'll Do
- Pour white glue and glitter glue into a mixing bowl
- Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and mix it thoroughly until completely dissolved in the glue
- Add a few drops of food dye to the mixture and stir until the color is evenly distributed
- Slowly add the contact lens solution to the mixture begin with 1.5 tablespoons and gradually add more as needed, while continuing to stir
- You'll know the slime if forming when it pulls away from the sides of the bowl
- Use your hands to knead it the slime. If it's too sticky, add a bit more contact solution - a few drops at a time and continue to knead until it reaches your desired consistency
- Store it in an airtight container until you're ready to use it
